Chelav Rural District (Persian: دهستان چلاو)[3] is in Emamzadeh Abdollah District of Amol County, Mazandaran province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Razakeh.[5]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of the Central District) was 4,247 in 1,154 households.[6] There were 4,463 inhabitants in 1,389 households at the following census of 2011,[7] by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Emamzadeh District.[4] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 4,720 in 1,544 households. The most populous of its 49 villages was Razakeh, with 1,599 people.[2]
