Glutamat-cisteinska ligaza (EC 6.3.2.2, gama-glutamilcisteinska sintetaza, gama-glutamil-L-cistein sintetaza, gama-glutamilcisteinilna sintetaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom L-glutamat:L-cistein gama-ligaza (formira ADP).[1][2][3] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju

ATP + L-glutamat + L-cistein {\displaystyle \rightleftharpoons } ADP + fosfat + gama-L-glutamil-L-cistein

Ovaj enzim može da koristi L-aminoheksanoat umesto glutamata.
