Ran (乱, bahasa Tionghoa dan Jepang untuk "pemberontakan", "kebangkitan" atau "kerusuhan", atau "mengganggu" atau "berhubungan") adalah sebuah film epik jidaigeki Jepang-Prancis^[4] 1985 yang disutradarai dan ditulis oleh Akira Kurosawa. Film tersebut dibintangi oleh Tatsuya Nakadai sebagai Hidetora Ichimonji, seorang pemimpin perang zaman Sengoku yang telah berumur. Cerita tersebut berdasarkan pada legenda daimyo Mōri Motonari, serta tragedi Shakespeare King Lear.

Ran adalah epik terakhir Kurosawa. Dengan biaya sebesar $12 juta, film tersebut menjadi film Jepang paling ekspensif yang dibuat pada waktu itu.^[5] Ran dirilis pada 31 Mei 1985 di Festival Film Internasional Tokyo dan pada 1 Juni 1985 di Jepang.
