Marc E. Platt (lahir Maret 1957) adalah produser film, televisi, dan teater Amerika Serikat.

Karier

Sebelum terjun ke perfilman, ia menjadi produser drama teater. Ia pernah menjabat sebagai presiden departemen produksi di tiga studio film: Orion Pictures, TriStar Pictures, dan Universal Studios. Platt kemudian mendirikan rumah produksinya sendiri, Marc Platt Productions, yang dinaungi oleh Universal dan melanjutkan proyek-proyeknya. Rumah produksinya memproduseri seri film Legally Blonde dan miniseri HBO berjudul Empire Falls.^[1]

Ia merupakan produser eksekutif dokudrama dua episode berjudul The Path to 9/11 yang ditayangkan di ABC pada peringatan lima tahun 9/11 tanggal 10 dan 11 September 2006. Film ini kontroversial dan dituduh mendorong agenda politik dan mengarang cerita menjelang serangan 11 September, terutama yang berkaitan dengan pemerintahan Clinton.

Platt juga memproduseri musikal Broadway Wicked^[2] dan Pal Joey (2008) yang melibatkan Roundabout Theatre Company.^[3]
