Săcele is a commune in Constanța County, Northern Dobruja, Romania. Located in the eastern part of the county at a distance of 47 km from Constanța and 30 km from the nearest town Năvodari, it has an area of 103 km2.

Demographics

At the 2011 census, Săcele had 2,027 Romanians (99.51%), 4 Tatars (0.20%), 6 others (0.29%).[4]

At the 2021 census, Săcele had a population of 1,987 inhabitants. The majority of the inhabitants are Romanian (85.86%), other (0.7%), and the rest (13.44%) are unknown.
