Oscar C. Calderon (born October 11, 1951) is a Filipino retired police officer who served as the chief of the Philippine National Police.[1][2]

Career

Early years

Calderon was a member of the PMA class of 1973.[1]

PNP Chief

Calderon was appointed over contenders such as: Deputy Director General Servando Hizon, PNP comptroller, and Deputy Director General Avelino Razon, PNP deputy chief for operations (his future successor).[1]
