Frankville, Missouri
Unincorporated community in the American state of Missouri
Frankville is an unincorporated community in southern Howell County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1] The community is located at the intersection of U.S. Route 60 and county road 8660, approximately two miles southeast of West Plains.
History
A post office called Frankville was established in 1869, and remained in operation until 1874.[2] The community was named after Frank Chapin, the original owner of the town site.[3]
