Aviz (Persian: اويز)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Aviz Rural District[4] of the Central District of Farashband County, Fars province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,454 in 307 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,386 people in 376 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,389 people in 403 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
