Urocampus carinirostris és una espècie de peix de la família dels singnàtids i de l'ordre dels singnatiformes.
Morfologia
Reproducció
És ovovivípar i el mascle transporta els ous en una bossa ventral, la qual es troba a sota de la cua.[6]
Depredadors
A Austràlia és depredat per Haletta semifasciata, Platycephalus laevigatus i Platycephalus speculator.[7]
Hàbitat
És un peix demersal i de clima tropical.[4][8]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba a Austràlia[9][10][11][12] i Papua Nova Guinea.[13][4]
